MESCO established in 1968 a registered Charity,
to which donations made, provide the donor 80G
Income Tax Exemption. It is also one of few Charities,
permitted by the Union Government to solicit funds
for its activities, in any currency around the
world.
MESCO started by a few friends who constituted
the first Executive Committee (Management) has
grown into a respected NGO whose beneficiary coverage
in the three domains of Education, Medical assistance, Women Empowerment & Poverty Relief touches over 10,000 families
annually, through various projects & Institutions. |

MESCO enjoys
the confidence of an equally large donor base, comprising
of respectable individuals, families, other Foundations
& Charities both locally & abroad. It Networks with
other agencies & charities in providing the much needed
assistance in its areas of relief and rehabilitation. It
keeps in touch with its well wishers through MESCO
News, its bimonthly Newsletter as well as the Old Newspaper Collection Drive every month.. It has been mobilizing
funds through novel means.
While MESCO’s strength lies in the
committed Executive
Committee who give a lot of Voluntary time, it is equally
privileged to have a qualified staff, which identifies
totally with the Mission of the Oraganization and treats
its beneficiaries with dignity and respect.
MESCO’s
methodological, caring attitude, openness , meticulous
documentation, self critique, “plan-do-review-plan”
approach, has been lauded and earned it much
respect.. Its Annual Reports give a detailed idea
of the happenings during the year. Its greatest
achievement has been the involvement of its
beneficiaries, who with their hard work & some support
from MESCO have been transformed from receivers to
providers and are giving back to Society through
MESCO & such other voluntary efforts.
Apart from the diversified schemes in its
three areas of interest, it is determined to setup
quality educational institutions at subsidized costs,
especially in areas of deprivation.YOU can make a big
