During 2010-11 we have assisted 1586 school & college students, provided Medical Services to 342 patients under various schemes and another 64055 patients through our three Mobile Clinics and one Fixed Dispensary; and provided Poverty Relief to 2644 beneficiaries.
MESCO’s GENERAL AID SCHEME
Sewing Machine Distribution:
Under this scheme Sewing Machines are distributed to widows and destitute after checking out their capacity to use them for gainful sustenance through a trade test and interview. This scheme which has been in operation for the last 29 years has been instrumental in making over 800 such widows and destitute not only self-reliant but live a dignified life.

Food Support:
Over 200 families are supported with the monthly ration by MESCO. These families are normally divorcees, widows, deserted women etc.
