High Cost Medical Aid:
High Cost Medical Aid is provided for the poor and
needy people. Medical expenses for heart and other
major surgeries and dialysis, tend to be an
unsurmountable factor for the low income or even
middle class families. If the patient in question
is a breadwinner or a young member of a family,
the entire family is severely affected. The cost,
which usually runs in tens of thousands or
sometimes even over a lac of Rupees cannot be met
by the family. Last year (2005 - 06) a total of
318 patients were assisted for medicines and
various surgeries. |

Relief Scheme, where about 25 patients are provided
regular medicines, under a closely supervised and
monitored scheme, until they are cured of the ailment.
