The  Schemes

 

High Cost Medical Assistance (HCMA)

 

Through this scheme financial assistance is provided to the needy patients who are suffering from heart diseases, kidney disease, cancer, orthopaedic and neurological problems.

 

General  Medical  Aid (GMA)

 

Under this scheme we help patients who require medicines for a period of about 6 to 9 months. We also assist for minor surgeries, IOL implants, buying of spectacles, callipers, etc.,

 

MESCO receives around 30 cases per month. It normally takes 7 working days for processing such an application, which include home visits and liasing with the hospitals/doctors as required.

 

Tuberculosis  Relief  Scheme (TBRS)

 

At any point of time 25 patients are supplied free drugs on monthly basis. These patients are followed under DOTS ( Directly Observed Treatment Short-term ), and all pathological test and  X-rays are done free of cost. About 2 to 3 patients knock on MESCO's door for help every month.
