The day MESCO adopted the school 6 years back under the School Adoption Scheme, it is trying its best to improve not only the academic standard but also the confidence level of the students by providing them every necessary help such as Note books, Text books, Uniform etc. The School has 512 students at the Primary level, 1010 students at Secondary level and 53 students at the D.Ed College level.

MESCO beleives that the classrom teaching in the school is inedequate and the students coming from the very low economic and low literacy level households cannot cope with their studies and therefore require additional support. MESCO has been providing additional coaching to a group of Std. VIII and IX students, as also to the entire class of Std.X. The S.S.C results have shown the experiment is paying off for while the cohort which was not coached at Std VIII and IX had poorer reult  the cohort coached at Std VIII & IX has a 42% higher results at the S.S.C exams in June 2005.
